Engraving (Ghalam-zani) is a term, for artistic metalworking, it is one of the original Persian handicraft, the art of engraving and embossing, hammering, repousse and chasing elaborate designs, patterns and shapes on metals such as copper, silver, gold, and brass to form minute detailed reliefs or small engraved patterns. Art engraving has a long history in Persian back to more than several thousand years ago.

My first time ordering from Persis for Nourooz gifts/card. I had an issue on the website so I emailed the next day. Arya assured me that my order had gone through along with the correct shipping address. Soon after on that same day, I got tracking info sent via email and received my order the very next day! All within 48 hours! The items are beautifully handcrafted and remind me how elegant and unique Persian art and style is.
