GLIDING JEWELLERY BOXES KHATAM KARI ART

Pieces of Metal and Wood beautifully laid on a wooden jewellery box, decorated with Tazhib art painting.

This jewellery box has been made by the artisan based in Persian Heritage.

Size: Small: 12 x 10 x 7.5 cm

Medium: 14 x 10 x 7.5 cm

Large: 16.5 x 10 x 7.5 cm

Material: Wood and Brass

Khātam is an ancient Persian technique of inlaying. It is a version of marquetry where art forms are made by decorating the surface of wooden articles with delicate pieces of wood , bone and metal precisely-cut intricate geometric patterns.

It was smooth transition and very quick delivery and very good items exactly like pictures only one thing I am not happy with it I bought a cuffline and matching tie pin it was 2 separate items separately priced and it was for 2 different occasions but unfortunately they came in one box which is ruined all my plan
