NOWRUZ EGG
A golden Nowruz egg is a decorated egg that has been painted or adorned with gold. Nowruz eggs, also known as Haft-Seen eggs, are a traditional part of the Persian New Year celebration, known as Nowruz. Real eggs are traditionally boiled and painted in bright colours and used as part of the Haft-Seen table setting, which is a special arrangement of items that symbolize different aspects of life and the natural world. The eggs represent fertility and the renewal of life, and they are typically placed on the Haft-Seen table along with other items such as garlic (to represent health), coins (to represent wealth), and wheat sprouts (to represent new beginnings).
This golden Nowruz egg is handmade in ceramic and finished in gold tones, a bright and lasting alternative to a painted real egg on the haft seen table.
