HAJI FIROUZ
Haji Firouz is the cheerful figure who appears in the streets in the days before Nowruz, dressed in red, singing and playing a tambourine to announce that the new year is on its way. This ceramic egg is inspired by him and painted by hand under the glaze, adding a touch of that festive spirit to your haft sin table.
Painted eggs stand for fertility and new life on the haft sin spread. Place this one alongside your other Nowruz eggs, or read about Amu Nowruz and Haji Firouz and how the two figures differ.
