Khātam is an ancient Persian technique of inlaying. It is a version of marquetry where art forms are made by decorating the surface of wooden articles with delicate pieces of wood, bone, and metal precisely-cut intricate geometric patterns.

Great service, great packaging, everything arrived intact. The items, are all individually wrapped, boxed and bagged! So if you're gifting, you don't need to do anything! The gift boxes and bags are very nice. There was a little surprise for me in the package too! Overall I'm very satisfied with the service, AND the quality of the items
