The Art of Ghalam Zani
Ghalam-zani is the Persian art of engraving and embossing, hammering, repoussé and chasing detailed designs onto metals such as copper, silver, gold and brass. It is one of the oldest Persian handicrafts, with a history that reaches back several thousand years. Each Lion and Sun ghalam zani plate carries the marks of genuine handwork and patient craftsmanship.
