Named for Koroush, as Cyrus the Great is known in Persian, this Persian pottery plate is made the traditional way: thrown on a handmade wheel, with the Koroush design carved into the raw clay body and finished using the decoupage technique. For admirers of Cyrus the Great, it is a piece of art with his name at its heart.
