This ceramic letter J is hand-shaped and finished with Persian calligraphy, giving a single initial the character of a small piece of script. Each piece is made individually, so the glaze carries gentle natural variation.
It stands well on a shelf or console table alone, or alongside other Persian decorative letters to spell out a name or word, and makes a personal, culturally rooted gift.
I've now purchased three items from this shop - a set of 2 tea glasses, a coal samovar and a wooden shisha. Reasonably priced, all great craftsmanship and beautiful packaging. It's difficult to find authentic Persian items where I'm from. The customer service has also been great - I've had all my questions answered almost immediately.
