Mina Birds Haftsin Set
During the celebration of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, a traditional table setting called Haft Sin is displayed in Iran. This table includes seven items that begin with the letter “sin” in Persian and symbolize various aspects of life and nature. The specific items may vary, but common ones include sprouts (symbolizing rebirth), a sweet pudding (symbolizing affluence), dried fruit (symbolizing love), apples (symbolizing beauty and health), garlic (symbolizing medicine), sumac berries (symbolizing the dawn sky), and vinegar (symbolizing age and patience).
