رمان دایی‌ جان ناپلئون نتیجه‌ی تلفیق داستان عشق ناکام نویسنده با ماجراهای خانوادگی او است. روایت پسری عاشق پیشه به نام سعید است که عاشق دختر دایی‌اش لیلی می‌شود. خانواده‌ی سعید همراه با خانواده دایی‌ جان و چند خانواده‌ی دیگر در باغی بزرگ و چند عمارتی زندگی می‌کنند. ایرج پزشکزاد نویسنده کتاب می‌گوید باغی که داستان در آن روایت می‌شود الهام گرفته شده از باغی است که پزشکزاد کودکی‌اش را در آن گذرانده است. باغی که ارث مادری‌اش بوده و همراه خاله‌ها و دایی‌هایش در آن زندگی می‌کردند.

My latest order from the Persis Collection was their minakari clock with Persian/Arabic numbers, which got here a few days ago. It arrived the same day as the replacement they had offered me for a minakari decanter I had previously ordered that had arrived damaged. Both pieces are hand-painted, and the intricacy of the design is incredible. They really brighten up the room, and also go well with a Mahmoud Farshchian print I have, as he uses those same celestial blue colors in his art. Thanks again to Arya for the great customer service!
