Persian Immortals Necklace
A handmade necklace inspired by the Immortals, the elite 10,000-strong royal guard of the Achaemenid Persian army. The design echoes the famous glazed-brick soldiers of ancient Persia, making it a striking tribute to Persian history. It comes in 18k white and gold plated 925 silver.
Who were the Persian Immortals?
The Immortals were the household troops and standing army of the Achaemenid Empire, named by the Greek historian Herodotus. Numbering around 10,000, they served as both the imperial guard and the heart of the Persian army, and their image remains one of the most recognised in ancient Persian art.
