QAJAR HAFT SEEN SET
The Qajar dynasty was a royal dynasty that ruled over Iran from 1785 to 1925. During this time, the Haft Seen tradition of setting a table with seven items that symbolize different aspects of life was an important part of Nowruz, the Persian New Year celebration. It is possible that some Haft Seen sets created during the Qajar dynasty may have been adorned with gold plating, as the Qajar rulers were known for their lavish and opulent lifestyle.
