The Arg Scarf

100% Silk The arg scarf was inspired by Persian art. This amazing scarf is made of luxurious silk and has been made by our artisan based in Tehran.

The design is inspired by the architecture of the Vakil Mosque in Shiraz. The Vakil Mosque is a mosque in Shiraz, southern Iran, situated to the west of the Vakil Bazaar next to its entrance. This mosque was built between 1751 and 1773, during the Zand period; however, it was restored in the 19th century during the Qajar period. Vakil means regent, which was the title used by Karim Khan.

My recent purchase from Persis was a great experience. The items arrived exactly as they had been advertised and much faster than I had expected. Despite a relatively pricy delivery cost, it worked out much cheaper than getting equivalent items in Australia. I will definitely consider Persis for my next purchase. We had to remodel our kitchen and I wanted a taste of Iran in the look of the new small kitchen. So we chose accent tiles from your collection. It was so easy to put in the order online and they arrived very quickly to Chicago all in perfect condition. I also had a lovely phone conversation when i called to ask a questions about one of the tiles before we ordered. They are gorgeous and I will always have a little bit of Iran when I am cooking!
