The Farvahar/farvahar (Persian: فروهر), also known as the foruhar/faravahar is one of the best-known symbols of Zoroastrianism, an Iranian religion. It symbolizes Zoroastrianism, the main religion of pre-Islamic Persia, and Iranian nationalism.

The Faravahar is the most worn pendant among Iranians and has become a secular national symbol, rather than a religious symbol. It symbolizes good thoughts (پندار نیک‬ pendār-e nik), good words (گفتار نیک‬ goftār-e nik), and good deeds (کردار نیک‬ kerdār-e nik), which are the basic tenets and principles of Zoroastrianism.

Arya assured me that my order had gone through along with the correct shipping address. Soon after on that same day, I got tracking info sent via email and received my order the very next day! All within 48 hours! The items are beautifully handcrafted and remind me how elegant and unique Persian art and style is. I love that I was sent a ceramic Nourooz egg as a gift in the box with my order. My recent purchase from Persis was a great experience. The items arrived exactly as they had been advertised and much faster than I had expected. Despite a relatively pricy delivery cost, it worked out much cheaper than getting equivalent items in Australia. I will definitely consider Persis for my next purchase.
