Khātam is an ancient Persian technique of inlaying. It is a version of marquetry where art forms are made by decorating the surface of wooden articles with delicate pieces of wood, bone and metal precisely-cut intricate geometric patterns.

Everything I purchased is absolutely gorgeous! and I love them The delivery was fast, and the packaging was perfect. However, the 4 * s is due to one of items that wasn’t the color I ordered—it’s different from what was shown on the website. I was amazed by the craftsmanship of the Persian backgammon board I ordered. The intricate flower and chicken design is even more beautiful in person. It shipped quickly, was well-packaged, and arrived in perfect condition. This board has become a centerpiece during our game nights. Highly recommend!
