Dolls Haft Sin Set

During the Persian New Year celebration known as Nowruz, a traditional table setting called Haft Sin is used. The Haft Sin table includes seven items that start with the Persian letter “sin”, as well as other traditional items such as candles, flowers, and pastries. Some common items that may be placed on the Haft Sin table include sprouts or grains (symbolizing rebirth and renewal), a sweet pudding made from the wheat germ (symbolizing affluence), dried fruit (symbolizing love), garlic (symbolizing medicine), apples (symbolizing health and beauty), sumac berries (symbolizing the sunrise), and vinegar (symbolizing age and patience). Haft Sin sets may also include dolls or figurines that depict various aspects of Persian culture and tradition. These dolls are usually made of ceramic or other materials and are often brightly colored and intricately designed. They may depict historical figures, mythological creatures, or everyday people engaging in traditional activities. The dolls are often placed on the Haft Sin table as decorative elements and may be given as gifts to friends and family.
