Tazhib (Illuminated manuscript)
A so-called illuminated manuscript is a manuscript in which the text is enriched with decorations such as for example the initials, borders, and miniature illustrations. In the most rigid definition, the term refers to manuscripts decorated with gold or silver but in common usage the term refers to any decorated or illustrated manuscript. TURQUOISE TAZHIB
