About the artwork:
Firoozeh Koobi, or turquoise inlaying, consists of containers and pieces made from metals such as copper, brass, silver or bronze, onto which small pieces of turquoise are placed side by side with special glue. It is a relatively young handicraft, with a history going back around 80 years, and it is made by artisans based in Persian Heritage.
